Today’s my first day back at Convoy of Hope!
For those of you who are a bit out of the loop on my life, I’ll catch you up to speed:
I arrived home from Kenya in December, and have spent the last several months working back at Starbucks, spending time with my family and friends, and re-organizing my life. I arrived back in Missouri late last night and will be working with the internship department for the summer, before returning back home to complete my degree in Public Relations.
Today has been a fairly productive day. I spent the first part of the morning in chapel, went to lunch at Big Mama’s (I met a man there who was impressed that I was a barista from Washington state… or as he called it the mother land of coffee. We shook hands and made coffee small talk :)), got caught up to speed on what’s happening in the Internship Department, and helped launched Convoy’s twitter (www.twitter.com/cohinterns) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/cohinterns) sites.
I am excited to see what God’s going to unfold during my time here. I’m doing things I haven’t done before, and working in an amazing environment. I’ll keep you posted 🙂
